Le Profondo Rosso (1975) de Dario Argento est un thriller opératique qui s'aventure fréquemment dans des moments d'humanité désarmante. Notre Profondo Rosso a pris vie à partir des restes de nos excès de vacances. Aux premiers jours de la nouvelle année, une fois la fièvre retombée, nous découpons et déchirons des chutes dans nos poubelles pour en faire des collages. La plupart sont offerts en cartes tout au long de l'année, mais six des compositions s'emboîtent comme un puzzle. Ou un giallo. Cerise aux contours sculptés dans la porcelaine et le noir d'encre.
